A big welcome to our on-line catalogue which has been taken from our postal version which I compiled on a glorious summers day here on the Island of Sanday. On such a day, one wouldn't wish to be anywhere else! However, it's no use forgetting that the colder months are ahead of us and it's always a good time to stock up your winter wardrobe.

When ordering from Orkney Angora you are dealing with a small, family run business situated in one of Orkney's most northerly isles. This unusual cottage industry was established, from the ruins of a derelict croft, by William & Elizabeth Sichel, in the spring of 1982. William and Elizabeth personally supervise all aspects of the business and maintain the high quality standards which have seen their enterprise grow so substantially over the years.

Their specialised thermal products are promptly despatched by mail order throughout the U.K. and abroad. They have customers as far apart as Cornwall, Kent, Anglesey, Eire, Belfast, Norwich, Merseyside, the Scottish Borders, as well as in the Orkney and Shetland Islands.

In the summer months a steady stream of visitors enjoy browsing in the craft shop.
