Beautiful socks with the convenience of machine washing (30 deg C on wool wash cycle) but still with the luxury of angora. No elastic at top, just lightly ribbed.

Fibre Content : 40% polyamide/30% angora/30% lambswool

Hand Wash Angora thermal socks, (ankle socks right), are now one of our biggest selling items. Superbly warm and comfortable these angora thermal socks are available in a range of colours and two styles - ankle and knee length. They utilise the unique thermal properties of angora wool (angora has been shown to be up to three times warmer than sheep's wool). Knitted (with fully fashioned heels) from a luxuriously soft 50% angora 50% lambswool yarn and particularly beneficial to those prone to cold feet - they also make ideal bed socks. No elastic at top, just lightly ribbed.

Now sold to a wide range of customers from pensioners to fisherman, sailors, walkers, cyclists, golfers etc etc. Indeed anyone with cold feet, chilblains, diabetes, poor circulation, arthritis and especially those suffering from Raynaud's disease. For extended wear it is recommended that a thin outer sock (or foot of a stocking) is worn over the angora sock. Hand wash only. Short spin and gently ease back into shape. Allow to dry naturally.
