Superbly warm and comfortable these angora thermal socks are available in a range of colours and two styles - ankle and knee length.  They utilise the unique thermal properties of angora wool (angora has been shown to be up to three times warmer than sheep's wool).  Knitted (with fully fashioned heels) from a luxuriously soft 50% angora 50% lambswool yarn and particularly beneficial to those prone to cold feet - they also make ideal bed socks.  No elastic at top, just lightly ribbed.

A customer (right, lower picture) models our socks at 15,125 feet up on the Laurebihayak Pass in Nepal.

Now sold to a wide range of customers from pensioners to fisherman, sailors, walkers, cyclists, golfers etc etc. Indeed anyone with cold feet, chilblains, diabetes, poor circulation, arthritis and especially those suffering from Raynaud's disease. For extended wear it is recommended that a thin outer sock (or foot of a stocking) is worn over the angora sock.     Hand wash only.   Short spin and gently ease back into shape.  Allow to dry naturally.

'Jumbo' Angora Socks, shown in navy with matchbox and 'normal socks for comparison.  The foot of the Jumbo measures approx 12" long, lying flat and the socks are approx 12" in circumference.

As above.  One size fits all. Ideal for swollen feet and legs, oedema problems etc.

No sizes, they are all just Jumbo. Actually a 12+ foot and double the normal width.

Made from high quality, tanned sheepskins with the wool trimmed to ½".  Makes all the difference in boots, shoes and slippers.  Revive your sheepskin slippers by using these insoles in them. Keep them clean and fresh with talcum powder brushed in and shaken out.
